The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) in partnership with the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) have collaborated on the development of Phase II of the Prevention in Hand (PiH) initiative. This user-friendly website and mobile application are a valuable health care resource for health professionals and public alike to easily access current and accurate information about the prevention of chronic diseases.
The new site for Prevention in Hand was a re-build of an old site that needed a completely revamped design and to be fully responsive (mobile friendly) and AODA/WCAG compliant. Addrenaline also created a mobile app for iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry platforms, and updated video spots.
The new site needed to be AODA/WCAG compliant and fully responsive (mobile-friendly) and incorporate multiple embedded videos, login areas for registered members, surveys and 'Single Sign On' functionality allowing users logged into a related site to access content without needing to log in again. Prevention in Hand was also to be editable by non-technical people.
The Kentico website is fully responsive, AODA/WCAG compliant and allows users to edit/update a wide variety of website sections/elements.
The mobile app is built for the four platforms mentioned above and can be downloaded using links on the Prevention in Hand here: preventioninhand.com/mobileapps
